Argas is a deaf Xaela, standing at an imposing 7'7" tall, and with a resting face that seems upset at all times it would be easy to assume that Argas is in fact an upset individual but that is incredibly far from the truth.
Background
Argas has begun admit to being from the Empire. He also openly admits to being a test subject to many of their cruel experiments, one of which took his hearing from him yet gave him his inhuman strength.
After years of torture and abuse, at the age of 10 Argas managed to escape, spending the next 5 years of his life on the run. Ending up in Ala Migho Argas tried to lay low before being pushed out of his new home once more only to be captured and imprisoned forced to fight in the Bloodsands for sport.
In the Bloodsands he was pitted against much older fighters with much more experience. Beaten and bloody became a daily routine for the Au Ra. As he found himself hardening more and more his wounds didn't seem to bother him as much and he continued to train to become a stronger shield always protecting other contestants when he had the chance from terrible fates.
Seen by a member of the Sultansworn absolutely not falling in a battle against a monster of a Gladiator he was given a chance to study under the Paladin, he swore his life to the Sultanate and has been serving to protect Ul'Dah and her people ever since.
Only after serving for 5 years Argas has since retired from the sworn, instead choosing to focus on protecting all the people he can. While he still has ties to the Sworn he has chosen to remove himself from their ranks for personal reasons.
